I hadn't shared my going until now because I wasn't sure I'd be able to go with how sick I've been, and with Martin being so behind on his work because of his helping me extra with the kids and all, etc.  It looks like it'll definitely work out now though for me to head to SLC for the conference, and I'm so thankful to my selfless husband for helping me go! Giveaway 5/14 | Bluedio Bluetooth Headphones

So I don't know if you follow on Instagram, but I just posted a photo from my first workout since I started getting morning sickness! I had a few really tough months where I was basically eating bread and apple juice, and spent most of my days playing with the kids on or watching the kids play from the couch in the playroom.haha I got woken up from lots of naps when books or trains would hit me in the head, I got to know the inside of a particular mixing bowl really well, I had more sticker facials than I can count, and I memorized the themes to Sophia The First, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Daniel Tigers Neighborhood, Veggie tales, Thomas the Train, and on and on, so who can complain right? :)

At any rate I'm incredibly grateful that I'm pregnant with this little one and wouldn't have it any other way, but I really missed working out and the happy feelings and endorphin's that come when I can exercise often, and I'm so glad that I feel well enough to start going again! Today's first giveaway is definitely affected by that, in that I'll be giving away my favorite workout accessory of all time!!

I bought martin a black pair of these for Christmas because they had awesome reviews and I didn't really want to spring for the more popular brand, and he loved them! I loved them too, so I bought myself a pair.haha They're super flexible for head widths, the ear cups are really comfy, they're really light-weight, the sound quality is awesome, there's volume and back and forward buttons on the earpiece, they last for like three weeks of daily workouts without needing a charge, and they fold up into a neat little hard case for transport! All I do is turn on my phone's  bluetooth and select the headphones (the letter "R"), and that's it! No more cords, no more hassle, and I'm so so excited about finally giving one away to you guys!

Giveaway 2/14 | Michael Kors Jet Set Large Travel Tote

Hey again! Baby girl's kicking me a bunch since I just had some orange juice, and it always makes me pause and smile:) That being said, what do you think of giveaway #2!? I snagged this puppy at a super cheap price a little while ago and had intended on giving it away during the holidays, so I figure now is a perfect time to get it to one of my people. It makes me so happy! 

These types of bags are a must for me! I never quite fill them to capacity, but I love having the extra space to dig around for my stuff, and I just love the look of slightly bigger bags in general! 
This one in particular has a snap closure inside, it has 1 divider zip pocket inside and 4 slip pockets, and here is a listing I found online for this same bag in case you're wondering more details about it.

Happy new week you guys:) As most of you know my birthday was last week, and as a big bang treat for my birthday (and since I'd missed a lot of opportunities during the holidays) I decided to have 14 days of big giveaway's in celebration and appreciating of everything you guys have helped me build this blog into! Sounds great, expect for the part where Rafflecopter was down for the week and none my the giveaway widgets I put together would load.haha

So! Today I'm starting off with my giveaway that was supposed to be #1 on the list last week, and later on today I'll post giveaway #2! I figure there's no way I'm not doing my 14 giveaways like I promised, but maybe I could keep my blog on schedule by sharing two giveaways each day for the
next week? How does that sound?! K lets kick it off... again.haha

Like I said in the first/last post, I chose to give away one month of the biggest and best ad on my site in thinking that would be a really exciting and fun way to give back to one of my loyal followers and suupporters! With it comes a month of dominating the top of my right sidebar and sharing in my traffic (which has reached over 1 million page-views monthly!), as well as lots of social media love and a solo blog or shop/business feature, plus a giveaway! 

Also, since I realize a large portion of you may not have a blog or shop, etc, it's totally transferable if you have a friend or someone you'd like to gift it to so don't let that stop you from entering:)

A Birthday Secret + 14 days of Giveaways, and an ad sale!

Happy Birthday to me! Today is the oldest I've ever been, and yet I feel like I've lived twice the years that I actually have.  We've all spent the last week thinking back on our lives and the last year especially so you know what I'm talking about, but wow I'm surprised at how much I've managed to squish into my 24 years.haha

Yes, today I'm 24! Did you know I've never mentioned my age on my blog or social media before now? haha I'm not really a cloak and dagger sort of person, but for years my age has just been a bit sensitive to me and I've unintentionally kept it 'secret' all this time! One of my goals was to share more personal things with you guys, so now you know my secret:)

I've always heard that I "look old for my age" and have identified best with older friends, and when I started dating for some reason I gravitated towards older guys, etc. That was where the insecurities about my age started I suppose, from being taunted by an older boyfriend every time I didn't understand a reference or something lame like that *two thumbs down*. I often joke that I was born an old woman and just keep ageing.haha I've just always been a bit weird about ages I guess! Every time I'm at a play-date with some neighbors or friends and they start talking ages I get nervous, because usually the response is something like "aww you're so little!" or "wow now I feel old." I just think age isn't a proper way to define ourselves at all, don't you agree? :)

It's been quite year for finding myself and my true desires, and I've been incredibly blessed to have so many people in my life (including you!) who constantly support and encourage me and my aspirations, and it's important that I hold myself to the highest standard so that I'm always striving to be my best self. 'If your dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough.' Right? :)

This year was my best yet-the first I've not birthed a baby since we started having babies!
I laughed more than I have in past years,
I cried over stupidly sappy movie scenes and ate way too many carbs.
My love for my husband grew so much deeper,
My friendships grew stronger,
I found some new strengths and many many weaknesses that I'd never realized.
I vowed to stay out of the sun without spf.haha
I found a love for weigh-lifting and stood alone on a big bright stage in spite of huge anxieties.
My 4 year old learned how to snap her fingers and I still cant:)
I met many of my personal heroes.
I complained far too much,
I discovered new smile lines on my face.
I decided that snuggling by the fire with my family is the greatest activity in the whole world.
I realized that I finally know who I am, completely. I know what my heart deserves, and I know where I stand. I know each of my faults and strengths, and I know well enough to know that there is much I don't know.haha

There is no set formula for a good life, but I like to think that the basic ingredients to having one are on the above list. :) So today when I blow out my candles my wish is that I'll continue striving for my best self and that I can inspire others to do the same. Getting older is healthy no matter what new age we may become, so lets embrace change together, and receive each new experience as a lesson to be learned!

Now for the fun part! Lets sing Happy Birthday off key at the top of our lungs, and eat something sweet and unhealthy just for today, and celebrate my birthday by kicking off the next 14 awesome days of awesome giveaways!!!
