SMOOTHIE SUNDAY | Silky Strawberry

I can't believe it's nearly December! We had some crazy weather here for the last few weeks where we had a bunch of sunny days with lots of playing outside and yard work, etc, and then suddenly we got a week of snow for Thanksgiving, and now it's freezing!! I made last week's smoothie at about 2am, so I didn't get a great picture of it, but this week I threw a bunch of leftover fruit from Martin's fruit salad he made for Thanksgiving into the blender with some other odds and ends, and it was so light and refreshing, I stuck a little straw in there and got a picture for you!
After such a big week of food with more than my fair share of sugar and carbs, I was really really wanting just a big mix of fresh fruits and veggies. Add in some yogurt for creaminess and some ice to chill it all off, and I was so incredibly happy! As were the kids.haha This was definitely one to document, and I hope you give it a try!

Silky Strawberry Smoothie
1 cup coconut water
1 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1 peeled orange
2/3 cup greek yogurt
1 stalk of celery
1 medium carrot
1 small apple
1 big handful of ice cubes
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp wheat germ
1 handful of ice cubes
splash of lemon juice
drops of liquid stevia to taste

As per usual, just toss all the ingredients into your blender in the order listed, and blend on high till silky smooth, or for about 8-10 seconds.
Also feel free to share any favorite ingredients you'd suggest or even combinations to try out, because we're always having fun switching up things over here and you guys always have such great ideas!
Let me know if you have any questions at all, and thanks as always for reading,
