What I Wore // Black on black on black

Hey guys! I'm gonna be a little funny for a second and talk about the weather, but it has been so crazy around here. I'll be freezing my face off in like 5 layers one day, and then the next day I can wear shorts or skirts and t-shirts like today and I feel great! I'm not really complaining though, I know there is very hot and actually freezing temps in many of your areas, it's just new for ours and it's a little trippy to get used to.haha I love layering though for that reason and black always makes a good base for any layers I'll put on, so variations of all-black outfits are my mainstays these days. How about you, what's your go-to color lately?
glasses - ross (jlo brand)
top - target (mossimo brand)
skirt - ross (character brand)
bag - tj maxx (dessert style brand)
tights - macy's
shoes - shuyler c/o shoedazzle
Today we put light jackets on the kids and took them to the park for lunch. They had such a blast and I certainly did too. The sun felt so amazing, and the cool breeze on my face and fresh air in my lungs- I've ben missing that something feirce. I hope it lingers for a while even if Spring isn't yet here to stay.

I hope you're doing okay where you are in whatever climate, and staying safe! Thanks so much for visiting and reading, and I hope you have a great week ahead friends!

  4. It's such fun to wear a lot of pieces in the same color! The other day I wore a black top with white polkadots and a ruffly black skirt with white paisleys, then added a white scarf with black music notes. Mixing all those different patterns with the same colors was an adventure :)

  6. How can you be so hot if you just had your 4th kid? it must be genetics, because I have seen other young moms who aren't in such a kick ass shape. Looking good.

  10. You look beautiful as always. Black is such a classic color and very much a staple in my wardrobe in different forms. Absolutely love the shoes. I realized that the one thing that my closet is missing is ankle boots so I'm now on the hunt for some but not having any luck. Maybe I should check out that site.

  11. I love me some ShoeDazzle! I just got two different colors of these amazing Victorian-esque boots in the boot sale, and I've already worn both of them. I really like your skirt and the all-black ensemble. I've been wearing a lot of black recently too, but lately cobalt blue has been really speaking to me. (I suppose partly because I was preparing for the Gallifrey One Doctor Who convention, and that's the color of the TARDIS.)

  14. When I saw this post, I thought "Those must be designer clothes." Then when I saw where everything was from, I was like "Wow! I could totally dress like this too!" I love your posts, especially your tutorials. They are realistic and I'm all about keeping it real! - Megan, The "Keeping it Real" Dietitian www.keepingitrd.com

  15. Just a curiosity question- are the outfits that you post every day outfits that you wear? Most of them seem quite dressy (at least to me) so I wasn't sure if you wear outfits like this to the grocery store, or if most of them are from events that you attend?

  16. Over here it's a bit hot already, but the mornings & evenings are just gorgeous. a day at the park w/ the little ones sounds just lovely! even though I think I'm older than you now, I still remember my parents taking me to the park as some of my fav childhood activities. Btw- might be working for you now, but i wanted to click on the hair volume tutorial at the bottom but it doesn't link to anything, just see the "pin" icon popping up. Would you mind emailing me the link (if you get this comment in your email & it's easy to of course, i know you're sure busy!). Hope you're having a great weekend!
