Wardrobe Checklist: Fall

Hello peeps and welcome to a new week! I just got back from being off with my amazing mother on a little weekend girls trip (with baby john too), and we had a total blast! Lots of great chats, sinful treats, naughty shopping, and just all-around spoiling ourselves for two whole days. loads of fun:)

Today I decided to create a little mini guide of must-have items for your closet this fall. I'm all about being comfortable while being fashionably versatile, so I've stuck to my favorite items that can go with just about everything, can upgrade any old regular outfit, and that are of course very on-trend this fall. Ready?

#1: Silky scarves: You know the type I'm talking about, the ones that add just the right splash of color to your fall earth tones, and are light and drapy enough to add that touch of feminine elegance to any outfit.  

#2: black leggings: 

#3: knee boots: wear them with tights, leggings, boot socks, jeans, or even just bare-legged! they're more practical then heels when the snow starts to come, and are extremely warm and comfortable too! 

#4: a leather jacket: this piece embodies everything about fall; cooler weather (but not too cold), earth tones for the changing seasons, tough-feminine, versatile, and it goes with just about any outfit!! this will be your go-to jacket for every-day fall.

#5: nerd glasses: more of a fun and versatile accessory, these glasses are perfect for back to school, and can add a little special-ness and purpose to any simple outfit. Prescription or no, these can be found all over the place, and you'll never regret the buy!

#6: print skirts: believe it or not, the hottest prints this season are florals! I'm more of a faux animal print person myself, but the nice thing about a big design is that (again) it can take any simple outfit and turn it into a statement!
