Aren't they the sweetest? (I'm fully aware that no one but me wants to look at this many pictures of my hubby and baby, but that's too bad;)) I just love the way these two look together. I'm certain that John is so going to be a daddy's boy. I already see it beginning... slowly, but surely. I also have a teeny tiny suspicion that John's first word will be "dadda", just like his sisters. I guess that's OK, because they're pretty cute together and you know, I'm all about cute things. ;) Martin is such a natural father. I couldn't consider myself more lucky to have him as my handsome husband. He is so patient and tender with me and all the kids, and he's so much fun!
Happy Father's day Martin! I wish I could write and write about the things that I am grateful for about you and the way I admire and adore you, but I will simply say thank you for being the greatest father for our children, and for making me a mother. I love seeing you interact with our kiddo's. Being a dad looks real good on you handsome:)
My dad has always worked so hard for us kids, and has been excellent for advice and always making me feel good about myself. Ever since I was little I wanted to marry someone that was as loving to my mother and to us as my dad was, and I'm happy to say that I did it! Now that we have our own tiny children, I'm so grateful that they has such a great example in a father to look up to for the rest of their lives. Someone who loves and cherishes them more than I have words to describe. (and also who knows when to teach and lead in seriousness, and when to roll on the floor and be silly with them because that's important too:))
Happy fathers day to all the wonderful dads out there! And especially to all the men in my life who I am so grateful for! My terrific brothers, grandpas, uncles... a new little son that has wisdom beyond his... weeks:), a dad that has set such a good example, a father-in-law that I can trust and laugh with, and the most amazing husband that I could ask for - not to mention, the best dad ever to our children.
You mean so much to me Martin and I'll never feel like I deserve you:) Thank you for your love and patience. You are perfect to me, and I love you forever.
xoxo, Emily
P.S. thanks for letting me take so many pics of you two, you're such a dreamboat:)

ReplyDeleteHi Emily! Your husband found my blogs and I followed his link to his blog and then to yours. I love writing, family life, and photography (although I'm not accomplished). Your photos on this post are just lovely! I think it's my first time seeing a baby in a tie! I'm now following you via GFC and liked you on FB.
