Weekend Wrap-Up

This Week: Our week started with Easter I suppose which was a very fun family affair. The first real Easter for us considering last year Ellie was just a year. Wednesday was our anniversary, and Martin greeted me on my arrival home saying that he'd take the kids because I was late for my Full Body Massage! What a sweetheart:) Anyways it was amazing, and we had a fun date to the movies that night(watched the hunger games). Thursday brought a much needed playdate with me best friend and her kiddies and my quilt guild in the evening. Then Friday and Saturday were pretty much spent catching up on housework and a special yard project martin's been working on (reveal to come soon!), so a pretty good week!

Weekly Snapshots: Easter morning, a little egg hunting fun, granny squares for the quilting bee, fabulous meals on the grill, a secret yard project, and the tastiest freshest fruit salad in the world:)
Weeks Favorite: This one's my favorite because its from a yard work day when we had lots of brush piled up for the dump (before bringing in the woodchips), with Sophie just singing and swinging next to it.haha
Next Week: Well not too much excitment coming up, just exciting house progress and work I think.haha To me its exciting to have all the laundry and dishes done, and to have the house just sparkling and smelling like cinnamon, so there's my week! Also Martin and Sophie's birthday is this weekend, but martin has to be gone overnight:( We have a little family vacation comeing up soon though, so that gives us something to look forward to!

Most popular post of the week: I received so many sweet and loving comments on my Anniversary note to martin post! You guys are just the greatest! thanks for helping make it a special day:)

A Few Facts:
  • I am almost in my ninth month!
  • I used to sew/sell tailored costumes online.
  • Martin speaks fluent Romanian.
Hope you have a terrific week ahead!
xo, Emily

  3. haha thanks @ brittany! I liked the hunger games, having never read the books a few things were confusing, and a few not my favorite (mostly the dizzying way it was taped like with a handheld camera), but all around pretty good I thought! THanks so much for reading!

and @anonymous, thanks for the tip! :)
