fall fringe booties - a triple minnetonka giveaway

I love me a good Monday:) We're really kicking life/things back into gear this week since Martin finished up his treatment cycle on Saturday, we're feeling pretty settled in the house, and the babies are on a good schedule etc, so we thought that by way of a sort of celebration of moving forward that we should do a fun Fall giveaway for you guys!
I'll take one of each please:) It's been over a year since we've done one of these giveaways, and so I knew it needed to be shoes (a classic for The Freckled Fox), it needed to have multiple winners to spread the love, and it needed to be something that I've really been loving myself lately, since that's always top criteria for giveaways on here. That being said, Minnetonka is not a sponsor of this post or this blog, but I have several different types of their moccasins and have used and loved them for years. Everyone should have a pair of these soft and comfy beauties in their closet, especially now that we're into Fall with the leaves turning and the air getting crisp:)

Alright so to enter the giveaway(in case you don't already know the drill), you simply need to comment on this post sharing your favorite Fall tradition or memory, or something Fall related.haha Click that you commented in the widget below, and you're entered!

As you can see there are also a ton of bonus entries for following The Freckled Fox on various social media channels if you feel like upping your chances of winning, and thank you guys so much for all of your amazing support and love! There aren't a lot of ways to literally 'give back' to my people for all the constant encouragement and sweet motivation to keep doing what I love, so I hope you have a great rest of your new week and best of luck:)

  7. One of the first dates with my husband was wandering in a garden looking at the changing leaves. We lost track of time and it got very dark and on top of it we got lost heading back to the car. It was an adventure we look back on and laugh about fondly.

  9. Hi Emily, wow I love these shoes. So first of all, fall is my favourite season. I love the changing colour of the leaves, the red, orange, yellow and green.
My favourite memory is from some years ago when I visited castle Herrenchiemsee which is on an island in the lake Chiemsee (Bavaria, Germany). I was there with my mum and our dog. You get to the island by boat. It was a beautiful fall day. The weather was crisp, not cold. So after we arrived there we just walked across the island until we reached the castle. The leaves of the trees were yellow. And there were so many of them already on the ground, or still falling down. I took tons of pictures and one of them turned out as very special: One of the falling leaves fell down right in front of my camera`s lense. This picture with the falling leave in the middle is one of my favourite fall pictures.
But our day on the island turned out even better. We found out that there was an autumn hunt right on this day. So there were lots of riders with red show jackets and hunting dogs. It was so great to watch this take place in such a nice scenery.
It was also a great day for my dog. He got to run around and even swam in the lake. I think he loved it as much as we did.
So this was my favourite fall memory. I hope you enjoyed reading this.

  100. Thank you for a chance to enter - I'd have to say one of my favorite fall traditions is going camping with my husband. We always try to go right before it gets freezing cold outside. My other favorite tradition is Thanksgiving at my in-law's house. My husband's sister and her family come into town and we have a great time every year. The biggest "tradition" is the older kids and his father "taste testing" the dressing. There is always a debate about how much sage needs to be added. One year, we had so much sage the dressing actually had a green hue to it before it was all said and done. :)

Decorating for fall, pumpkin patches, drives up the canyon to look at the beautiful colors of changing leaves, making pumpkin breads, and pumpkin cookies., buying new halloween books to read to the kiddos, and watching/reading/listening to 'The Monster Mash" 200x's a day! Even though these traditions are similar to what others do I don't mind because it brings our family closer together, and there isn't anyone I'd want to experience the excitement with more than with my sweet little family! Xo

  123. Halloween is a really big thing for my family. It will be strange this year as my parents and sister have moved from KS to AZ... but usually it is a big deal. We would all go to my parent's house, they used to live in the city they grew up in. So everyone who would stop by with their kids would stop in and say hi. They would have dinner or dessert. We would make chili and chili dogs ( I have no idea how that became the tradition.. probably because it's easy and makes lots of servings?!). We would make sugar cookies, or pop corn balls, or brownies that looked like spiders, or something festive. We'd dress up and spend way too much time out there before driving home. I'm really going to miss that now... but my husband and I are working hard to create our own traditions that we can start with our someday family. :) XO -Alexandra

  146. My parents live on a golf course and when the leaves change on a windy day everybody goes out and catches the leaves as they fall. Sounds dumb but it is hilarious to watch because the leaves don't just fall straight down. You're constantly falling over because you have to change directions so fast to catch then lol.

  149. Growing up we always looked forward to the fair-and it was always such fun. My Dad didn't do a lot with us growing up but he made sure we went to the fair as a family. As an adult I always enjoyed carrying my little ones to the fair and now that my little girls are in college I still enjoy going with them to the fair and anywhere. Thanks so much for this most generous opportunity.

  161. My favourite fall memory has to be going to the pumpkin patch. My aunt got all my family together the year I got married and we've made it a tradition every year since. I've watched my family and my cousins family grow and change each year as little ones get added and kids grow up. And my Hubster always insists on finding the perfect pumpkin which is pretty amusing to watch him pick through the giant field of pumpkins to find "The One." Gets us good exercise too

It works out perfectly since it is my son's 1/2 birthday and fall pictures are just the best with all the colors. Making his costumes gives me even more appreciation for the costumes my mom made for me growing up.
