#WorkFromHappyPlace | with Hp & Intel

Special thanks to Hp & Intel for sponsoring this post! All opinions expressed are entirely my own. #WorkFromHappyPlace

Happy Wednesday guys! I'm excited about today's post because I get tons of questions asking about my work, how I handle it all, schedules, keeping my posts up and so on, and this will hopefully be able to answer at least a few of those!
As you all know I've been pretty sick for the last few months, and so as I've started feeling better I've been trying to play catch-up every chance I get, and this is where my topic comes in!

Working from home is amazing as it enables me to still be a legit full-time mother to all my little kiddos, but I've learned over the last couple years since I started my blog that the actual editing and writing portion of it is next to impossible with all my kids in the room with me(are you surprised? haha).
Sometimes in order to really get into my creative mindset, I have to steal a few moments to myself to really get focused and back on track. These little 15 minute car rides during Martin's lunch break can really helped to clear my head, but before I was invited to try out the new HP Stream tablet with Intel Inside®, I was limited to only places that had wi-fi access so I could work. That's a huge deal!

Since I've been so cooped up inside with my morning sickness and also as the weather has been getting better, my happy work place is not usually stuck inside a cafe or something so I can have internet. Now that I have my HP Stream (because it has Free 4G data right out of the box) I can still use it at the salon or a restaurant of course, but now my happy work place can also be on the edge of an overlook, on a bench in the park, or in a boat on the lake if I want! haha I'm basically free to take my work any conceivable place that I can think of that will inspire me to be the most relaxed, creative, and productive that I can be, and that's just priceless.

The HP Stream is a new kind of tablet with Intel Inside®, and since my desktop at home is an HP as well, I can log in with my account and it's like having a smaller version of my home computer wherever I go. I have the 7" tablet which is the perfect size to get real work done while still being able to fit into even my smallest bags for mobility. The built-in Intel Inside® processor makes for a lightning fast performance, it has 1TB of FREE cloud storage for a year and FREE office 365 for a year! This is huge too because I can get every type of work done with access to Word, OneNote, Excel, Powerpoint, not to mention all the tons of storage space for it all. I don't know of any other tablets that can do that.

Well I suppose I could stop gushing at this point, but I hope I've been able to encourage you to expand your happy work places,  and I hope you have a great rest of your day!

  1. The pictures are amazing! And your hair... Oh my! My hair is almost as long as yours but I have like a third of your hair..
I can't wait for the weather to get better and warmer so I can take your advice and get some blog inspiration outside.

  2. LOVE THE LOOK ON YOU. So... Can you show the normal, everyday person, NOT the stars who can afford Braided Hairstyles For Bridels & makeup experts to help them ALL THE TIME.Beauticians continually cut my hair so short, (even though I tell them otherwise) I have to wait 6 months for it to grow back before I can even try for a better cut.Awesome haircut!

  7. First of all, I'm on the same page as all of the other commenters - THAT HAIR THO! I am perpetually jealous of it! Secondly, free 4G data sounds amazing. I wish I could use my tablet more places, but I have to rely on wifi for it, so if I'm out and about, I have to find somewhere with wifi to use my tablet or computer, or use my phone (and use up my data) which can be really irritating, what with the small screen. I'm glad you are starting to feel better. Keep being awesome :)
