Weekend Wrap-up

This Week: I've been feeling more overwhelmed just with all the pies i'm cutting into and not enough forks to eat it all or - i don't really know where I'm going with this metaphor.haha all in all it was a pretty fast paced week and at the end of it all I don't feel like there's too much to show for it, beyond happy healthy kiddies, a somewhat worse for wear husband (sorry babe), a couple happy clients, some little strides with work, some pretty great workouts(maybe a gym buddy!) a big cut on my hand from the rabbit cage*womp womp* some awesome asparagas, and a few hours less sleep than I had last week I'm sure. haha So basically pretty normal, pretty great:)
Weekly Snapshots: lovely flowers // crazy quads out of nowhere // sharing a juicing recipe // my mollie makes feature // planting season is upon us // another new adventure // her favorite part of the day // a wooden face(that we all decided looked like a sloth right? haha) // and a good ponytail day
To-do's and Goals for the Week:
- finish up my to-shoot list
- drink more water
- take a long hot bath for the first time in months
- take a nap during the day at least once

A Few Favorite Things:
- this new mini series by my gorgeous friend Jenny (also new mommy-to-be!) on pursuing your dreams. So inspiring and pertinent. Loving the ladies she's picked to feature so far as well,
- this music video from first aid kid
- uhhh so I stumbled on a blog that has the entire four seasons of Downton Abbey posted, and I'm pretty sure it's legal.haha Maybe it's my reward for giving away a copy of it before I'd watched it? yes, that's it:) there goes the rest of my day...
- Dana's closet items that are up for grabs. love her style!
- diys like this (maybe it's the glue? the fabric?) always make me itch for a project. way cool.

A Few Facts:
  • Lately I kinda wish I could go back to my days of insomnia in highschool. I'm falling asleep everywhere.haha
  • I'm really craving a trip somewhere, somewhere that requires a flight would be great:)
  • I think it's time that I start looking for someone to help me manage my inbox, at least to help me catch up. Yes.
  • My oldest baby is turning 4 this month! Ugh calm yourself mama. breath:)
  • I have a pretty fun (mostly for me) and big announcement coming this week. I cant't wait!

Something Awesome for today: tripping on your face and realizing no one saw you.haha

Thanks for visiting! I hope you drop by soon this week for some fun news and something I've never ever done before on the blog, and probably won't do for a while.haha Have an awesome rest of your day folks:)

  4. I sincerely enjoyed reading this, I love how your are to the point and include a wide variety of topics. Short and sweet. Personally i take a 1 hour nap each day but I've lost my ability to wake up at 8 in the morning, i think that that is one of my main goals this week (longer days that way yay). Thanking you for this lovely post.

  5. An announcement hmmm? Are you pregnant again? :D I totally feel ya with the falling asleep everywhere, I can't imagine with 4 babies, I only have one and I'm super tired. Mind you my full time job keeps me pretty busy. Funny how we keep calling them our babies even after they grow... ;)

  7. Haha! I am all the time tired/falling asleep as well! :p And I'm only 19! Hey if you are serious about wanting some help with inbox/blogging in general, I have to recommend a girl I know who is fantastic!!! I work with her -- she actually has a Virtual Assistant business and the website will be up soon -- and she definitely knows what she is doing and she offers GREAT rates per hour. :) We love working with blogs! Clients so far include Club31Women.com, MatthewLJacbson.com, and more! Just to throw that out there! I'd love to donate a few hours of work if you'd like to email me at sharonr@triumphassistance.com!

  9. Haha, "tripping on your face and realizing no one saw you." This is such a blogger thing to do. Even though this could have remained a secret FOREVER, we bloggers just have to share :P. Happy Tuesday!
