Weekend Wrap-up

This Week: was a lot of fun leading up to the big event in the middle(Christmas of course), and now that it's passed we're really seeing that a little bit of recovering needs to happen.haha Overall, we had a really great Christmas week filled with lots of family, some friends, yummy treats, getting spoiled, thoughtful gifts, kids excitement and tons of giggles, sparkly lights, warm fires, holiday tunes, foot messages, long talks, sweet texts, big bows, shipping frustrations, reminiscing, teeny pieces of wrapping paper, messy buns, snow fall, sunshine, unexpected but sweet visits, late nights, early mornings, resolutions and goal making, a cut finger, daily workouts(!), excitement, painted nails, baby snuggles, stacking wood, and so so much love.
Weekly Snapshots: martin's decorating skills on display // a tender moment // sunrise and morning frost // gym selfie // a happy parlor // a peek at how I organize our weekly meals // pretty white snow // a cousin's nativity // some much needed hydration
To-dos and Goals for the New Week:
- return those headphones
- push myself harder at the gym
- finish a pending belated Christmas present
- take more 'real' pictures
- vacuum the upstairs
- write a letter
- take Ellie on a little date
- put the newborn tub on the top shelf *sniff*
- dump the 8,000 photos off my phone

A Few Facts:
  • I am an over-achiever. surprise!
  • I have lists and lists and lists of videos I plan to make for YouTube. far too many:)
  • I really hate returning things, but have also had very good luck with never really needing too
  • I used to have pretty naturally curl hair, but since having my boy, it's really become more wavy
Thanks for visiting! I hope you and your loved ones had a very merry Christmas week, and enjoy the rest of your weekend! See you very soon i hope,
xo, Emily

  1. I really love how you line up your goals for the week, what a great idea! I'm a list girl as well and this looks like a great way to keep in line for the upcoming week or so. I tend to do monthly goals, but maybe smaller ones would be better? Happy New Year!
