New years is my most favorite of all the holidays, because it is the ultimate fresh start/new beginning/clean slate etc, and you know that I'm such a sucker for that! Monday's, fresh to-do lists, any moment that I can take the opportunity to begin again I'm all over it. I've tried in the past to not write 'resolutions' so much as just a couple goals for the new year, then I write out lists of specifics for each month, each week, and each day and the pressure isn't so big.
For 2014 my main goal is: to do more. Funny I know, because my life is already so crammed and busy, but that's just how I love it! It's full of things that give me an outlet, that expand my knowledge and creativity, that bring me friendships and confidence, and that draw me closer to my family, and I want even more!
I want to exercise more, read more, call more, dance more, write more, date more, cook more, walk more, nap more, draw more, sew more, more more more, you get the picture:)
earrings - target
necklace - christmas gift (natasha)
dress - ross (prime cut)
belt - c/o kristins collection
shoes - bamboo
Speaking of more, what would you like to see more of on The Freckled Fox in 2014?? Now's the time to put in your vote! I always talk of the plans I have for this blog, and every day I love putting out content that I love to post that's also things you wanna see or hear about, so let me know!

xo, Emily

I stumbled across your blog today as I was searching hairdo's for a party tonight... I'm freaking out about being in a dress with a not-so perfect post baby body (my belly puffs out a little more now, and chest is deflated and lower... list goes on). I wanted to comment that I love how stylish of a mama you are, and that you are fit and healthy and real - not deathly skinny as the media likes to push on us that we should all be. Thank you for giving me fashion inspiration and confidence to rock my look tonight! I'm you're newest follower :)
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit. I would like to see more information on your outfits. For example, I love the boots you are wearing but you only said Bamboo. I have tried to search for them, but no luck! I think it would be great to know a little more, like you've had something for years, a link to purchase, etc. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fantastic blog! I stumbled across one of your posts via Pinterest and now im hooked! Looking forward to reading all your posts in 2014.
