Chocolate Peanut Butter No-bake Cookies

Hey there guys! Baby is not bein kind to my tummy today, and also I can't seem to stop these migraines:( Any more natural ideas than Tylonal?? That's the only drug that I take when I'm prego, and its just not enough sometimes:( Anyways! Every time I post a picture of these cookies when I'm making them on instagram I get lots of requests for the recipe, so I'm so excited to finally share! A good friend shared this recipe with me a long time ago, and she can't remember where she got it anymore, but I will never make another chocolate no-bake cookie again!
This cookie is so perfect, and has everything I would ever want from a no-bake cookie! Its moist, creamy, and gooey, it has chewy texture and smooth flavours. You can definitely taste all the rich chocolate, and the peanut butter is such an awesome partner for chocolate, always. So lets get to it!

Chocolate Peanut Butter No-bake Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons dutched cocoa
2/3 cup peanut butter
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups quick oats
- sprinkle of nutmeg

Method:
Heat a small saucepan on high while adding in the butter, brown sugar, milk, and cocoa, and stirring to combine well till the butter is all melted and there's a rolling boil. Once you've let it boil for about a minute or two, mix in the peanut butter, vanilla, oats, and nutmeg and stir till the peanut butter is seperated and combined with the mixture.
Add in the oats they're well coated. Scoop out of the pan with a medium icecream scoop and put on a waxpaper-lined cookie sheet. Leave in a cool high place for about an hour or so to make sure they're hard enough to pop off the wax paper and enjoy! (if you forgo the 'high' place, you may have several missing cookies before you know it).
I hope you give them a try! These are definitely one of my top two go-to cookies laetly because they're oh so fast to make, and then I can just put them in a ziplock on the counter and enjoy with a cup of milk whenever baby decides it needs some chocoalte oatmeal good-ness:) Pretty addicting!
Thanks for visiting today, and see you tomorrow!
xo, Emmy

P.S. my second number two cookie will be posted very soon!
