Weekend Wrap-up

This Week: I decided to start off the week and month by doing one of those photo a day things on instagram, and even though its been going horrible, I've been posting lots! I just don't get the required shots.haha We had our first picnic of the season at a local park, we brought fried chicken and veggies chips, but all the girls wanted to do was play:) I started playing the piano again and set goals for progress. I drolled over baby bathing suits and summer treat makers at Costco, and picked up a bunch of sinful desserts. I reminisced about Alt Summit a bit more and planned in my head my next blog conference and which friends I would finally meet. John decided that he would be a stander, and started standing against everything. for hours! He's also a legit crawler now and I can't let him out of my sight. haha I received my new curling iron in the mail and had terrific fun playing with curls. I made some of the best popovers I've ever eaten I think (fist pump). Broke out some of our canned garden tomatoes for the first time in a couple months, and had forgotten how satisfying eating your canned goods is! I also smiled over little messy heads of morning hair, started my new BD class, really loved my first late night sew in a long time with my Quilt Guild (and started into another awesome quilt), and I spent many late nights getting emails taken care of, meeting many more amazing bloggers, shattered all my sponsor sale records with my feature spot on the new PF Marketplace, and generally felt so so blessed and excited, and more tired, but more pumped than I have felt in a very long time. Pretty great week:)
Weekly Snapshots: Really wanna go back for this Sno Cone Maker, playing with curls, the most amazing popovers that were gone in about 13 seconds, start of a new spring-ish quilt, the most amazing bed head girl in the world.haha and a shake that I enjoyed too much, probably because it felt like spring:)
A Few Facts:
  • If I'm around the house my hair is in a messy bun. Guaranteed. When I sleep I braid it:)
  • I'm way behind on answering emails, and will never be caught up the rest of my life:)
  • My computer moves at a snails pace and is likely to die any day. and I'm scared:(
  • I've forgotten how much I missed the sunshine, and will probably have a sunburn before it gets to be even very hot outside, because I'll fall asleep in the shade with a book and wake up in full sun after hours.haha
Whats something you're really looking forward to this week? I'd love to hear about it!! :)
