Weekend Wrap-up

This Week: ...has been the most tremendously productive week we've had in months as far as the house is concerned. When Martin's not out working he's been like a whirlwind around here: hanging shelves and artwork, staining floors(and doors), building closet shelves and clothes racks, repairing the staircase, building gates, painting walls, installing hardware, replacing windows, and so much more. It feels almost like a different house! We definitely have a brand new appreciation for this wonderful home of ours and are made to realize everyday that we take it for granted. I've spent this week mostly watching Martin in amazement while doing house chores, feeding toddlers, nursing newborns, and changing diapers...with a little blogging thrown in:) So, all-around pretty fantastic.haha

Next Week: I'm so excited about my goals for next week as far as the blog and the house are concerned. If I can just stay hydrated I'll be in good shape to get them all done:) Next week in honor of all the progress we've been making on the house lately, I've decided that its high time to start a home tour of sorts on the blog! I can't wait to show you all more of our asthetic and see what you think:) Also there's something pretty amazing coming up tomorrow so hurry back in the morning, you won't want to miss it!

A Few Facts: 

• I'm seriously addicted to watermelon...still! But it has to be cold, crisp watermelon. Fyi:)
• When I was little I had an obsession with Ancient Egypt, and wanted to be an archaeologist.
• The night Martin proposed I was preparing to tell him I was going to Russia for 4 months. My trip was canceled:)
