Weekend Wrap-up

This Week: makes me smile to think about:) Every day has been so full in one sense and so empty at the same time. Full I suppose of the wonderful family and fun oriented things, and empty of the stressful and distracting ones. A few visits from friends and family, lazy mornings and cuddly nights, Deliciously tasty meals that are just good for the soul, and the most precious moments we've ever experienced as a family. Things are just going so well! I feel so blessed.
Weekly Snapshots: Sorry these are mainly baby shots, but how can I help myself?!? Actually you should be glad your getting so few, haha because I've taken hundreds this past week! This one of my boys sleeping though is just to die for isn't it? Okay maybe its just me:)
Weeks Favorite: My mom's mother came to visit and meet John, and he had his eyes open, smiling and cooing at her the entire time! Such a sweetie. ugh, sorry I'll stop, maybe:)
Next Week: I'm really looking forward to the routine coming back even more. Mornings and evenings are getting a little more like clockwork, but the days almost never really turn out how I'd planned, and even though that's okay! I'm still ready for a bit more organization, you know?  Martin's also back to work for the majority of the week starting tomorrow, so that means lots more chores, meals, and general housework that he's been darling enough to have had resting on his shoulders. We'll see how well I do without him! wish me luck? :)
Most popular post of the week: All you sweeties were so complimentary of John's Maternity Series post! Thank you so much for following along on my pregnancy journey!

A Few Facts:
  • John Robert shares names with his father, grandfather, great, and 2nd great-grandfather.
  • My tolerance for spice shot up while pregnant, but its still here afterwards!
  • My mother is going to start quilting with me! I can't wait:)
Hope you have a terrific week ahead! Keep you eyes on the coming weekend and anything annoying will seem more tolerable:)
xo, Emily

  18. Oh, Emily - love this - taking pictures of my husband and children when they were sleeping was one of my favorite things to do! When he'd get home he'd play with them and the next thing you know it was nap time for all! Now, they're all grown and gone - you've brought back memories!
    Thanks,
    Kathy
