October '15 Mix

Those of you that have been following for a long while know that I've loved sharing monthly playlists (or 'mix tapes' as I liked to call them), and a big request lately has been to bring that feature back to the blog! So here is a collection of random favorites that are a bit haunting or eerie, and/or just have a bit of a Halloween/Fall vibe to them. I hope you enjoy!
Normally I share them on a playlist, or include links to YouTube or something, but sometimes the videos aren't the best, and the playlist program I used to use is having big problems (boo), so if you know of a better or easier way to share my future mixes with you I'd greatly appreciate it! I love using Rdio (not sponsored) to keep my favorite songs organized on my computer, but I don't think you can like embed playlists from there:( Oh well, I'll work on that!

>> UPDATE: Thank you so so much for the suggestions! Here is the mix from Spotify (minus the last song which I didn't realize till now has explicit lyrics), and please let me know if there are any issues for you! <<

At any rate, I hope you've enjoyed this playlist, and whether you're already a fan of some or have found a couple new favorites I'd love to hear down in the comments! Also, as a side-note are there any staple songs you love listening to during the Fall/Winter, or are simply enjoying right now that you wouldn't mind sharing?

Have a great rest of your week friends,

  2. You could make playlists on Spotify and call them October 2015 etc. Then share the links on here 😊 Spotify is free for everyone but you CAN pay to remove adds and be able to select the songs. The free version is just shuffling a certain playlist with adverts.

  7. My playlists aren't doing anything for me at the moment, I seem to have overplayed everything. Reading through this has reminded me of Portishead, I love their music! Lots of new suggestions on there for me to try too :)
