This was posted on my Instagram earlier today(sorry for the quality), and I wanted to share here as well.
Consider following over there (if you're not already) for the quickest updates on our day-to-day:)
We took this last night after another very long day at the hospital, and when I first looked at it I immediately thought 'I'm not posting that' because of my messy hair, bags under my eyes and my lack of jawline, etc.haha Today I looked again-this time more at Martin, and I knew I had to. You'd never know this big guy was battling cancer would you? That he has multiple tubes coming out of his chest and side, or about all the stitches, etc. You'd never know I climbed in bed with him after one particular treatment to try and warm him up, as his whole body shook with side effects. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers, and Martin has more strength than anyone I know. I'm so proud of my warrior, and so glad I could be here to help him- even at nine months pregnant:) | #mysweetheart #fighter #bodybuilder #marriage #cancer #stage4 #staystrong | ➕ p.s. Thank you guys again for your support that never ceases, I don't think I'll ever be able to properly acknowledge all the love sent out way❤️❤️

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for what you are going through. I had a brief encounter with skin cancer and it led me to hours of research where I stumbled upon frankincense oil and how effective it is at treating and curing multiple types of cancers. I applied it topically and orally through a pill from doTerra and I swear it is what cured me. There are many research studies currently proceeding that are finding frankincense is able to destroy cancer cells while leaving the healthy cells intact. It wouldn't hurt to look into it as a possibility. Best wishes to you both.
ReplyDeleteStay strong, Martin!
ReplyDeletePraying for your strength, for Martin's healing, for the end of your pregnancy, for your kids to be calm and comforted as you and Martin have to shift day to day focus a bit. 'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.'
ReplyDeleteI read your blog for your awesome hair styles, and don't usually ever post, but I happened to see this today. I know how hard it is to have someone you love have cancer–my wonderful mom passed away about 4 years ago after a tough battle with pancreatic cancer... and I know that having a spouse with it is probably much tougher. I pray that the treatments are successful and that you both have strength during this difficult time. I know it would have been much harder during my mom's time, if we hadn't had so many people rallying around us!
