So what's it gonna be?

We did it! Yesterday we finally had the chance to make a little trip to find out the gender of the baby (since we're doing another home birth, the hospital ultrasounds are waaay too much $$$), we couldn't have been more excited to see what's been cookin' in this belly for so long. As soon as she asked if we were ready to hear what it was I could already tell, but I was like "Yep!" and than she told us.

Thinking back to my first pregnancy, I never really had that great of intuition concerning the sex of my babies like some moms seem to have, so I really had no idea going in. Sometimes I would think its definitely one or the other because of cravings or size etc, but than something drastic would change and it just really threw me off. Do you know beforehand?

So which do you think it is, a boy or a girl? Are the girls havin' another brother or does John have another sister on the way? I think it'd be fun to hear any thoughts you may have before I spill the beans here on the blog, so I won't say anything else about it! I will tell you however that and it was really great news, and that after the appointment we took the kids to a awesome Chinese buffet and than to a local aquarium. They'd never really seen live fish before let alone all the awesome varieties and sea creatures that they had there, and they were thoroughly pooped on the trip home. While we drove we talked a lot about the new addition to our family and how perfect he/she looked, and how they're right on schedule to come in the Fall:)
