Weekend Wrap-up

This Week: included a new fancy stove in the canning kitchen, a sweetheart date to the movies (the dark knight rises), a few new recipes, lots and LOTS of blog planning time(crazy fun stuff coming yo!), some ladies chat and sewing time, and to finish the week off we hit up a few garage sales and our local farmers market. It was so good this week! There was so many different fruits and veggies to choose from, beautiful artisan craftsmenship, and there's this little old lady from ukraine that we try and visit every time we go who makes thee best baklava and potato cakes ever.

Weekly Snapshots:

Weeks Favorite: My favorite score from a garage sale: this antique oil painting and frame for $3.00!

Next Week: Just more of the typical same next week I think. Work, blogging, kiddo time, and maybe a date:) oh and I guess my wonderful brother and sister-in-law coming with their fantastic children to stay the weekend counts! They have eight cute little children, and they're so well behaved! We try to pick their brains every time we see them to learn as much as possible:) Tune in next week for tales of our adventures!

A Few Facts:
  • I cannot snap my fingers. Martin's gotten me closer then anybody to learning, but still no sound...
  • Martin and I are planning a fabulous anniversary trip! We'd like to go somewhere new every year. Any good suggestions?
  • I'm a little obsessive with to-do lists, in case you couldn't tell.
Here's to a productive and fabulous week ahead, for us all! What are some of your plans??

  5. Awesome adventures! :)

I definitely recommend visiting California's central coast, if you haven't already. I live in the area and one of the big attractions is Hearst Castle, plus all the fun beach outdoor activities (kayaking, whale watching, etc...)
