Weekend Wrap-up + Lydia 1 Month

This Week: its been one of those weeks where every day was dictated for us pretty much because of Christmas concerts, parties and the like involving friends ad family. We're happy to go to those type of things of course, and we don't feel obligated, but I also dream of a week straight where there's not some practice or meeting, get-together, concert, etc any night that week:) We've been getting on along great though, and I'm happy to report that we've been crossing lots of things off our December To-do list! There are till lots we want to do, but we still have lots of month left as well:)
Lydia turned 1 month old on Friday, and it's really been a whirlwind of a month as far as watching her change and grow. She's awake much more of the day now, but still sleeping through the night like a champ. She hardly ever cries, and when she does it's only because she's extra hungry.haha Her favorite thing to do is to be snuggled up on my shoulder, and her big eyes and little button nose charms everyone she meets:) Here are some IG pics from the day she was born to now. We sure love our sweet baby girl!
To-do's and Goals for the Week:
- make some truffles
- sort through my items for shop my closet
- potty train sophie
- finish my Christmas quilt
- find the roku remote
- purchase the rest of our christmas gifts
- finish off the rest of the baklava
- finish making the kids gifts
- schedule my hair trim
- get a good nights sleep

A Few Facts:

  • I could eat peanut butter fudge for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • I love to sing.
  • When I grow up and all my kids leave the house, I have dreams of buying a bullet bike
  • Christmas gets better every year as our kiddies get older. This is going to be the best year yet!

Thanks so much for visiting, and I'll see you tomorrow for something that's not been on the blog for way too long!
xo, Emily

  5. The top row, middle photo is just too precious :) Two things we have in common...1. I'll be working on potty training my Sophie as well and 2. I could eat peanut butter fudge all day, every day as well. I love peanut butter anything.

  6. She is already sleeping through the night?!? What is your secret? We are having a little bebe in a couple of weeks and I am most fearful about him NEVER sleeping through the night. :(

  7. She's so cute and looks so much like your other kiddos. I love your little/big family. LOL I was wondering if you could possibly one day do a quilt tutorial or more sewing tutorials. I know that you mention sewing a lot and would love to learn more abou it. I have a sewing machine myself but have really only learned to sew simple straight lines. Nothing from a pattern or as complicated or intricate as I would like to do. Hope you and your family are staying warm and snuggly
